How Following My Passion Led Me to NeoWell

Updated: Oct 8

Have you ever had that little nudge inside telling you there’s something more out there for you?

Maybe you’ve worked so hard to get where you are, but deep down, you know you’re being pulled in a new direction. Maybe you’re afraid of the unknown, or scared to leave what feels safe.

I know that feeling well — because I’ve been there.

My Story

For me, passion has always been the compass that guided my career.

And I want to pause here and say — I don’t share this to make it about me. I truly believe we learn and connect best through stories and experiences. My hope is that as you read mine, you’ll see parts of your own journey reflected in it — and feel encouraged to think about where your next step could be.

I started out as a second-grade teacher and did that for six years. After that, I thought I’d transition into being a stay-at-home mom. And while I have so much respect for moms who feel called to that — I realized pretty quickly that it wasn’t where my heart was. I loved people too much to stay home full-time, and I felt pulled toward something different.

So, I followed my passion for people into nursing. I became a labor and delivery nurse and spent 10 years walking with families through some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. I absolutely loved it.

But as I began my own wellness and weight loss journey, I felt another pull. I wanted to help others the way I had been helped. That led me into the health and wellness space, where I went from zero sales experience to becoming the company’s top salesperson. Looking back, I know it wasn’t about sales at all — it was about passion. My own struggles gave me a way to truly understand what others were going through, and that connection allowed me to help them in a meaningful way.

There was a short season where that company shifted into something that no longer aligned with me. And that was the only time I felt like I wasn’t living in my passion. But it also became a turning point — because it pushed me to ask, What’s next?

Finding NeoWell

That question eventually led me to a networking group — where I met Deanna, the owner of NeoWell. One meeting turned into four, and it became clear this was where my passion and purpose aligned again.

Now, I get to use all of my gifts in one place:

  • Teaching branding, social media, and content creation — which ties back to my teaching roots.

  • Administering IVs for hydration and supporting regenerative medicine clients with cellular IVs — which allows me to work directly with people on their health.

  • Connecting with nurses, NPs, and PAs exploring aesthetics — and helping them see what’s possible when they, too, choose to follow that nudge.

It’s the perfect blend of what I love: teaching, connecting with people, and helping others transform their lives.

Why I’m Sharing This With You

If you’re reading this and you feel that same nudge — that seed planted inside of you that whispers “this isn’t all there is” — I want you to know it’s there for a reason.

It’s scary to leave what feels safe. It’s scary to wonder if you’re ready or good enough. But passion has a way of leading you exactly where you’re supposed to be.

So let me ask you:

  • Where could your passion take you if you trusted it?

  • What would your career look like six months from now if you said yes to that nudge?

  • How would your life change if you gave yourself permission to keep following what lights you up?

Your story doesn’t have to end where you are now. Mine didn’t. And I didn’t share this to make it about me — but because I know stories help us imagine what’s possible.

If this speaks to you, I’d encourage you to simply take the next step. Book a call. Come visit us at NeoWell. Explore the program. Even just start a conversation. Sometimes the smallest “yes” is what opens the door to the biggest transformation.

Don’t ignore that seed inside you. It’s there for a reason.

Lots of love,

Erin
